We are excited to announce that music ensemble classes are close to starting! Musician, Boris Nixon, is having a parent & student informational meeting at Mountain Home School on Friday, November 1st at 11:00 a.m.

If you turned in an interest form for your student, please attend this important meeting.  For those who have a student who plays an instrument but did not fill out a student form yet, it’s not too late!  You can still attend the meeting, meet Mr. Nixon, & fill out a form after the meeting.

Starting in November, classes will be held on Mondays at the Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church.

This is a reminder that the Attendance form is due to your Charter Teacher on or before Friday, October 11th by 12pm! To download a blank attendance form, click the appropriate link below:

Please make sure to sign each line in blue or black ink and mark subjects covered. A child is not considered absent if at least one subject was covered for that day. If you mark absent on the form it is important to write in the reason for the absence (such as sick, ill, doctors appointment, etc) otherwise this absence is considered un-excused. If you have 3 or more un-exused absences in the year your child is considered truant by California Law. 

This form is very important to turn in on time, failure to turn the form in on time will result in a non-compliance letter. If you need to fax your attendance form, this can be done at (559) 642-1592 but we need the original form turned in to your charter teacher within the next school week.

Also don't forget that school will be closed this next week for October break. We will reopen at 8am on October 21st. We hope you all have a good and restful vacation.
